The third album from this heavy-metal supergroup (led by Pantera’s Phil Anselmo and Corrosion of Conformity’s Pepper Keenan) remains heavily indebted to Black Sabbath in its sludge-riffic sound, but also sports some memorable riffs and meaty lyrics dealing with the destruction of Anselmo’s hometown (New Orleans) and the death of his former bandmate (Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell). Grieving Pantera fans, take note.
