I laughed so hard I peed a little. Pointless TV legends are made of this stuff. People are already gathering around their computers and watching the clip on repeat…
That’s right, kids. Zack Morris is back. And we’re not just talking about the five reruns per day on different channels.
The high top sneakers. The sun-kissed highlights. The big-ass brick phone.
Mark-Paul Gosselaar appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Monday to promote his new show, Raising the Bar. Yet, Gosselaar hasn’t appeared to age in the two decades since Saved by the Bell was a favorite. He must sleep in Tupperware at night … in Zack Morris’ wardrobe.

Ok, maybe we’re exaggerating, but in a moment of pure nostalgic comedy genius, Gosselaar revisited his most famous character for the entire duration of his interview with Fallon. For about nine minutes—infamous “time-outs” included—Gosselaar never broke character. Fallon on the other hand? Well, we’re use to him cracking up when he isn’t supposed to from his Saturday Night Live days. No biggie.
The entire interview is part of Fallon’s attempt to organize a SBTB reunion in honor of the show’s 20th anniversary. So far, Fallon has already convinced Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle), Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater) and Dennis Haskins (Mr. Belding, who will basically do anything these days and appears at a Vegas party every three seconds).
So, kudos to Gosselaar for being a good sport and willing to poke fun at his cheesy beginnings; we love him even more for it. He even took the Late Night personality quiz. Now, we want more. Check out what might be Fallon’s best segment to date then sign the petition to get the cast back together. Meet you at The Max!
