While Vegas nightclubs were snubbed at the International Dance Music Awards last year, they’re not down for the count. However, they may be out of the spotlight. The seventh annual Club World Awards, which honor the best parties, DJs and venues, have canceled their awards ceremony and will be keeping a slightly lower profile this year at the Winter Music Conference in Miami. The only formal ceremony will be the International Dance Music Awards in which Pure Nightclub is in the running for best U.S. club. Here’s hoping we do better than last year.
