The Clarion Hotel Liquidation Sale | September 10, 2014 | 10:47 a.m.
The Clarion Hotel, once known as the Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Hotel, closed its doors for good over Labor Day Weekend, and in true Vegas fashion, a property-wide liquidation sale commenced. The interior, once abuzz with tourists going to dinner or lining up at the Wolf Theater, now lies silent, the only buzzing coming from neon signs still affixed to the wall. Clock radios and archaic telephones are piled high. Vacuums are sprawled across the carpet and everything from the the brass railings to the dinner plates has a price tag. A vacant casino is an eerie sight. Walking outside for the last time, a lit marquee reads, “Thank You, Please Come Again.”
